We spent many hours pondering the balance between beauty and realism. In two Sri Lankan villages, one Tamil and one Sinhala, that have been at war for decades, villagers on both sides become infertile. They receive a message from the gods that a man from one village and a woman from the other must go to an isolated forest to find a way to renew life, though only one is destined to return.

Nominated for the Silver Screen Award at the Singapore International Film Festival
